Business System Architect, Supply Chain and ERP

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience designing and implementing supply chain integrations, systems.
• Experience in managing full system implementation lifecycles, including analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and support.
• Experience in implementing ERP transformation projects and collaborating with cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in the Supply Chain business domain.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 20 years of experience in building enterprise grade platforms, products and solutions.
• 20 years of experience in implementing vendor software/building supply chain applications.
• Experience in architecting and deploying systems in distributed environments (e.g. in on-premise data centers or public clouds).

You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. As a Supply Chain Business System Architect Lead in supply chain and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) you will be focusing on developing and maintaining internal systems or third-party applications for Google and Alphabet supply chain and data center around the globe. With your expertise in the areas of materials management, inventory management, planning systems, procurement processes, you will on-time deliver and execute project to fulfill compute hardware and technology at our global data centers. You will collaborate with NPI, supply planning, engineering, commodity management, contract manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to drive process and system/Architectural transformation. You will develop, build, and deploy applications using various platforms and technologies tied to specific SAP.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical and architectural strategy from concept to delivery.
• Define best practices for solution design, development, system configuration, test documentation, execution, issue identification and resolution.
• Architect innovative solutions to automate and scale business systems, while providing direction for architecture, design, build, and support activities required for enterprise software platforms.
