How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design and development of cutting-edge data protection and security solutions, driving innovation and utilizing the latest technologies.
• Architect and build high-performance, scalable, and highly reliable solutions that exceed customer expectations and significantly enhance their trust.
• Present technical topics in various forums, conferences, and internal discussions, playing a key role in shaping conversations.
• Write and maintain high-quality, maintainable code that sets the standard for excellence
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership, ensuring the team adheres to best practices in software development, high-quality coding standards, and follows Agile principles.
• Develop and drive the creation of unit and integration tests, establishing a robust framework to ensure product stability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-geographical teams, driving continuous improvement and taking on ownership of complex features and systems.
• Mentor, coach, and lead junior software engineers, fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field

8+ years of software development experience

Skills

• Hands-on development experience in C, C++, Java at an expert level, with the ability to build solutions that are both scalable and high performing.
• Advanced understanding of Algorithms & Data Structures, system level programming (system calls, multithreading, socket programming, IPC etc) on Linux/ Windows
• Ability to tackle complex systems-level challenges and deliver reliable solutions.
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL), REST APIs would be a plus
• AI/ML expertise, including hands-on experience in integration of machine learning models is definite plus
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Go, Perl would be a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills would be a must
• Significant experience with software development tools, version control systems (e.g., git), build systems etc. would be highly desired
• Knowledge of Security technologies and concepts like PKI, TLS, data encryption algorithms, authentication and authorization techniques etc. would be a big plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, cross-geographical teams, driving the team’s success while balancing technical and business requirements.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives effectively would be a must
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced environment, while also taking leadership and ownership of projects, driving them from design through to successful implementation and deployment.
