Reports To: Practice Head – Cloud & Infrastructure Services
Location: Chennai, India.
Experience: 10+ years in Multi-Cloud Infrastructure, Architecture, and Solution Consulting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Cloud Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role combines hands-on architecture, data center leadership, and client solutioning. You will design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments, modernize on-prem infrastructure, and play a key role in building client trust through technical excellence. Ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges and influencing strategic cloud decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Architecture

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Create scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments that align with performance, cost, and compliance goals.
• Build HLD/LLD, reference architectures, and deployment frameworks for cloud migration and transformation.
• Develop hybrid cloud architectures connecting on-prem systems with cloud services via VPN, Direct Connect, or ExpressRoute.

Client Solutioning & Engagement

• Represent the company as a technical expert in client conversations, workshops, and strategy sessions.
• Lead solution design for prospective and existing customers, addressing their infrastructure and cloud needs.
• Support sales teams in pre-sales activities including RFP responses, architecture presentations, and technical proposals.
• Build customer confidence through deep domain knowledge and practical recommendations.

Data Center Modernization & Oversight

• Oversee and optimize in-house data center operations to meet standards of performance and availability.
• Lead transformation to software-defined infrastructure, virtualization, and private cloud platforms.
• Ensure high uptime, security, and efficiency across the infrastructure stack.

Reusable Assets & Innovation

• Develop standardized cloud blueprints, PoC kits, estimation models, and reusable components.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies across AWS, Azure, and GCP and recommend adoption paths.
• Create replicable solution assets that can accelerate delivery across multiple client engagements.

Required Technical Skills:

• Deep, hands-on expertise in AWS (EC2, VPC, RDS, ECS/EKS, IAM), Azure (VMs, VNets, NSGs, AKS), and GCP (GKE, VPCs, IAM).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, zero trust models, and infrastructure cost optimization.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native design.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell for infrastructure tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least one professional-level certification: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience in customer-facing roles for cloud architecture, migration, and transformation.
