Our Global CIO is leading a significant evolution of our Enterprise Technology capabilities, bringing together over 2,500 technology professionals into an integrated global team. This Team will play a crucial role in enabling the ongoing transformation of our agencies and functions.

The role is responsible for primary supporting day-to-day operations of the Citrix environment, may include proactive monitoring and management. In addition, this role should also perform intermediate-level troubleshooting and utilize available monitoring or troubleshooting tools. Assist with resolving issues escalated by Level-1 support.

What you'll be doing:

• Perform intermediate issue analysis and resolution.
• Identify root cause of issues.
• Respond to server alerts and system outages.
• Review vendor and knowledge base articles.
• Respond to critical monitoring alerts.
• Generate internal knowledge base articles and issue restoration scripts and maintain troubleshooting workflows.
• Perform basic server maintenance operational procedures.
• Manage user profiles and data.
• Generate requests for additional issues restoration scripts and knowledge base articles as necessary.
• Able to read built-in event logs for Windows and Citrix to do basic troubleshooting.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills to interact with team members, customers, management and support personnel (technical and nontechnical)
• Work on technical problem identification and resolution, including responding
  
  

What you'll need:

Experience with Microsoft windows server including but not limited to

Design and Implementation:

• Understand Azure services (e.g., Azure Compute, Storage, Networking).
• Configure and optimize Citrix infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Create / provide solution design documentation
• Performs related duties as assigned or requested
• Maintains software versions management controls
  
  

Virtual Desktop Management:

• Manage and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) setups (e.g., XenDesktop, XenApp).
• Optimize and adjust the Virtual Desktop system for efficiency.
• Creating multiple VMs for users, Migrating & monitoring VM server activities
  
  

Networking and Security Basics:

• Understand DNS, DHCP, and network architecture.
• Implement security best practices.
  
  

Troubleshooting and Support Citrix environment:

• Advanced knowledge of Citrix environment and monitoring and maintain Citrix settings and dependencies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix-related issues.
• Provide end-user support for Citrix infrastructure.
• Creating users/managing permissions and administrator rights.
• An understanding of protocols (TCP), firewall concepts, remote desktop server policies and profiles
• Managing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting Citrix solutions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and switch between tasks quickly during high stress situations.
• Proficient with incident and problem management, configuration management and change control policies and procedures
