Cloud Test Engineer(Azure)

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end testing of cloud applications and services hosted on Azure.

Develop and implement test cases, test scripts, and automated test suites.

Perform manual testing as the need arises, with a strong focus on ensuring the quality and stability of cloud applications.

Understand and work with various Azure components such as Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Automation Accounts, Storage Accounts, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, Key Vault, Managed Identity, Entra ID, and Private Endpoints.

Review and validate PowerShell scripts, SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and T-SQL to verify functionality and ensure alignment with testing requirements.

Test and validate CI/CD pipelines for detailed deployment and automation of applications.

Write and maintain automated tests for APIs using tools like Swagger to ensure accurate integration and functionality.

Investigate and document defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

Ensure accurate testing and validation of systems interacting with SQL Server, SSIS, and MS SQL environments.

Monitor, log, and analyze application performance and behaviors to detect potential problems.

Conduct testing of both HTTPS APIs and Web Services ensuring they meet security and functional requirements.

Actively participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile processes.

Key Requirements:

Confirmed expertise in understanding PowerShell scripts.

Hands-on experience with SQL, T-SQL, and MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, SSIS, and querying sophisticated databases.

Confirmed knowledge of testing APIs and experience using tools like Swagger for API documentation and validation.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work optimally in a team-oriented environment.

Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
