About The Role
As an Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for defining the overall architecture of the application, as well as working with our team of developers to ensure that the application is built to specification. If you have a passion for building applications and a strong understanding of software architecture, then we want to hear from you!

About The Role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage new features and functionality for applications, across multiple groups, platforms, and technologies
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend technology solutions to improve current processes
- Use industry best practices to increase productivity and efficiency
- Work with developers to translate business requirements and technical specifications
- Develop architecture diagrams and software models
- Perform analyses on current architecture
- Provide technical leadership and expertise
- Work with technical leads, product management, and support teams on various development needs, including planning, coding, testing, and documentation
- Understand business needs and suggest solutions to problems
- Develop prototypes and proof of concepts, and estimate project development time
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior developers
- Work closely with marketing to understand product requirements, and write technical documentation
- Create and maintain product documentation including technical guides, user and system documentation, product specifications, and release notes
- Present ideas to management during brainstorming sessions and project reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or relevant experience
- 8-10 years of experience with highly scalable application architectures
- Proven experience architecting software systems
- Experience with web and/or mobile front-end technologies – Java, ReactJS/NodeJS, SQL, PostGres, Javascript, Python, Kafka , Redshift
- Experience or knowledge in messaging architecture, Zookeeper, Docker , Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, AWS EKT , GIT
- Experience with Cloud – AWS preferably
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Superb organizational and time management skills.
- Great collaboration and communication skills.
