We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst with expertise in SQL and Power BI to join our business team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions, using a combination of strong querying skills and dynamic reporting Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean, and analyze data using SQL queries from large relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide insights to various business teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
- Perform data validation, ensuring accuracy and reliability of reports and KPIs.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data/reporting issues proactively.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and data support to business Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 14 years of hands-on experience in SQL and BI/reporting.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, and stored procedures.
- Strong experience with Power BI (including DAX, Power Query/M Language, and data modeling).
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication and documentation Qualifications :
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
- Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for quick data summaries.
