Data Analyst (2-4 yrs)

About us:

At its heart, Probo is an opinion trading platform building prediction markets for India. On Probo, users can find questions on many topics of their interest, like sports, news, finance and many more. Users can swipe yes or no to express their opinion and place trade(s), and by doing so they enter into an event contract with another user on the other side of the trade. Probo is a matching engine that enables the execution of this event contract. Each trade is INR 10, and at the end of the event contract, the user with the correct opinion wins the quantum at stake.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze Web Traffic data to uncover insights on customer behavior & outcomes.
• Coming up with hypotheses leveraging internal and 3rd party data.
• High-level conceptual thinking about product / user problems.
• An inclination for numbers and a keen eye for business metrics.
• Create holistic weekly, monthly reports, and dashboards by pulling data from different data sources.
• Design and implement the full cycle of A/B testing from hypothesis creation to post-experiment analysis and presentation of results.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of work experience in a Data Analyst/Business Analyst
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel and scripting languages such as Python etc.
• Good to have: working experience with BI tools (Quicksight / Power BI / Tableau, etc.)
• Ability to break down a complex problem into smaller parts and develop a solutioning approach
• Excellent communication, analytical and evaluative thinking skills
• Blend of Business + Data experience.
• Who knows data structures
• Preferred if the candidate has worked in a start-up before
• Willingness to take initiative, and the sheer ability to hustle and get things done in ambiguous problem spaces.
