Job Description-

Job Summary:

DATA ANALYST

Project: Securitization Platform Build

JD for Functional BA / Data Analyst : The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing raw data files, preparing data mappings, and ensuring data integrity throughout the securitization data platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze raw data files from various sources to understand data structures, formats, and quality.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data mapping documents that outline the source-to-target mapping for data elements in the securitization application.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and technical teams, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in data processing.
• Create and maintain documentation related to data analysis, mapping specifications, and business requirements.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data transformation processes to support the securitization platform.
• Conduct impact analysis for changes in data sources and collaborate with teams to implement necessary adjustments.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts by ensuring data mapping accuracy and functionality. Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of securitization processes and data management principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with data mapping tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Knowledge of the Australian banking regulatory environment.
