Basic Information • Role Title: Senior Data Analyst • Required Technical Skill-set : SQL, Python, PySpark, Azure, Excel, PowerBi (preferred) • Vertical: Data Analytics • Work Location: Gurugram • Work Experience: 5-7 years About the Team and Role: The Analytics team collaborates closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Category, Marketing, Product, Technology, FS & Payments, Customer Experience, and Customer Service teams. Our mission is to provide actionable insights through data trends and in-depth analysis, helping the business solve complex challenges and drive data-informed decision-making. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with 4-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will specialize in data analytics, advanced SQL skills, and leveraging data to inform business strategy and decisionmaking. This role requires expertise in data manipulation, modeling, and visualization, with a focus on delivering impactful insights that support various business functions and objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Business Insights & Analysis: Analyse customer, portfolio, and transactional data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support strategic initiatives for the business. • Market & Competitive Analysis: Perform benchmarking studies to understand market trends and competitive positioning for credit card offerings. • Customer Segmentation: Develop frameworks to segment customers based on demographics, behaviour, and usage patterns to drive personalized campaigns and offers. • Business Case Development: Enable/Present business cases and feasibility studies for new initiatives, campaigns, and product launches, supported by robust data-driven analysis. • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements for process improvements, product enhancements, and operational strategies. • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer acquisition, retention, spend, and credit risk. Provide recommendations to optimize business outcomes. • Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current workflows or operations and suggest process automation or optimization opportunities. • Data Modelling: Develop and optimize data models to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions. • Reporting & Visualization: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to present data insights effectively to stakeholders. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between data, marketing, product, and operations teams to align analytics outputs with business goals. Internal Competencies for the role • Education: B.Tech or BE or MCA • Experience: Prior experience in Product Analytics/Marketing Analytics/Growth Analytics/Consumer analytics domain, preferably in Credit Card or Financial Services Industry. • Business Acumen: Has the ability to define success metrics for different initiatives or campaigns, drive ROI analysis & provide recommendations. • Analytical Skills: o Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in querying large datasets and deriving insights. o Basic knowledge of different regression models & clustering techniques. o Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and actionable insights in complex data sets. o Develop and refine customer segmentation models using behavioral, demographic, and transactional data. • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and working with large-scale relational databases. Proficiency in Python, PySpark & Power BI will be preferred. • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions.
