Job Title: Data Analyst – Garment Manufacturing Unit

Location: Tirupur, Tamil Nadu
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2 to 5 years (preferably in manufacturing or textiles)
Reports To: Executive Director.

Bullet Impex Private Limited is a leading garments manufacturer and exporter based in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Our unit is capable of producing 100,000 garment pieces per month. We focus on delivering high-quality garments worldwide and managing merchant orders for reputed exporters.

Job Purpose

To collect, analyze, and interpret operational and production data to improve decision-making, production efficiency, inventory control, and cost management across the garment manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Operations Analysis
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly production data.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in sewing, finishing, packing, and dispatch.
• Generate dashboards for line performance and order-wise output.
• Inventory & Material Management
• Analyze raw material usage, wastage, and balance stock reports.
• Forecast fabric/yarn/accessory requirements using past data and current orders.
• Order & Shipment Tracking
• Maintain order-wise data including T&A (Time and Action) status.
• Help streamline order processing from sampling to shipment.
• Costing & Profitability
• Assist in analyzing costing breakdowns (fabric, labor, accessories, overheads).
• Help management track profitability per order, customer, or style.
• Quality Data Analysis
• Monitor quality metrics (defect rates, rework, returns).
• Identify common issues and suggest preventive actions.
• Reporting & MIS
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
• Automate recurring reports using Excel, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with production, merchandising, stores, and accounts teams.
• Present data-driven insights to improve team performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of data analysis experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably textile/garment).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Familiarity with ERP or production management software (Garment ERP is a plus).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in garment manufacturing or textile industry.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or industrial engineering principles.
• Basic understanding of garment costing and production workflow.
