Data Analyst Cum MIS Executive (Advanced Excel Operator)

Overview

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret a variety of data sources to support academic and operational decision-making. This role plays a key part in enhancing student outcomes, optimizing resource allocation, and providing actionable insights for teachers, administrators, and school leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and manage data related to student attendance, grades, assessments, behavior, and demographics.
• Analyze trends in academic performance and suggest interventions or support strategies.
• Develop dashboards and reports for use by teachers, leadership teams, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate school effectiveness and student progress.
• Collaborate with academic staff to align data analysis with curriculum goals.
• Assist with school-wide surveys and feedback tools (e.g., parent and student satisfaction).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in compliance with data protection policies.
• Provide training or support to staff in interpreting and using data.
• Support the school’s strategic planning through evidence-based insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in an educational environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of student information systems (e.g., PowerSchool, Infinite Campus) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Understanding of data privacy laws and ethical data use in schools.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
