What you’ll be doing:
- Analytics Platform Ownership
- Build the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe CJA).
- Build and manage dashboards to provide insights on product performance, customer journeys, and feature adoption.
- Tagging & Tracking Implementation
- Design and deploy tracking strategies using tag management systems (e.g., Adobe DTM/Launch, GTM).
- Write custom scripts (JavaScript) to capture events and enrich tracking data.
- Data Engineering
- Build scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data for reporting and analytics use cases.
- Ensure data quality, performance, and availability across data sources.
- Product & Customer Analytics
- Enable product and marketing teams with self-service analytics and key insights.
- Conduct deep dives into user behavior, search analytics, NPS trends, and feature performance.
- Enablement & Documentation
- Create documentation, training guides, and run enablement sessions for cross-functional teams to leverage analytics platforms effectively.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, analytics or product analytics role with focus on building getting the tracking data and enriching analytics.
- Strong hands on experience with analytics tools such as Adobe CJA, GA4 or similar
- Proficiency in building data pipeline with Adobe Experience Manager or similar tools
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency in NoSQL is a big plus
- Proficiency in tag management platforms (eg Adobe DTM, Google Tag Manager)
- Good understanding and experience of JavaScript for writing and debugging tracking scripts.
- Experience in building ETL pipelines using SQL and tools like Airflow, dbt or cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills with collaborative mindset
- Experience in site search analytics, feedback tools (e.g. Delighted) is a big plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Monotype is expanding globally. Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is desirable (not mandatory) for this role: German, Japanese, French, Spanish.
