Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Engineer – Snowflake Platform specializing in Snowflake with a minimum of 4 years of experience. As an integral member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, working with large datasets in Snowflake. The ideal candidate will also possess skills in PowerBI for data visualization and reporting. You will assist in building, optimizing, and scaling data workflows, contributing to the improvement of data architecture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Develop Data Warehouses: Architect and maintain Snowflake Data Warehouses, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
• ETL Development: Build, implement, and manage ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into Snowflake environments.
• Schema Design: Create and maintain Snowflake schemas, tables, views, and materialized views to support a wide range of business use cases.
• Optimization & Tuning: Perform query optimization, data partitioning, and other techniques to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to understand data needs, share insights, and improve data flows.
• Data Integration & Automation: Automate data integration workflows, repetitive tasks, and report generation, improving operational efficiency.
• Data Governance & Security: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with established data governance policies and industry best practices.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve performance issues or anomalies within the Snowflake environment, ensuring smooth operations.
• Platform Upgrades & Migration: Assist in upgrading Snowflake platforms and data migration efforts, maintaining minimal disruptions.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse development and management.
• Proficiency in SQL and SnowSQL, with a deep understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization within the Snowflake platform.
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools like dbt, Airflow, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize complex queries and workflows.
• Solid understanding of data governance, security protocols, and best practices in a cloud-based environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Snowflake or other relevant cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with PowerBI for data visualization, reporting, and dashboard creation.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages like Python or Java for enhancing data pipelines.
• Experience working with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or others.
• Exposure to data lakes and advanced data integration techniques.
