Summary: As a Data Architect/MDM Architect is a senior technology leader responsible for designing, building, and overseeing the enterprise's Master Data Management solution. This role is pivotal in establishing a "single source of truth" for critical data domains such as Customer, Product, Vendor, and Employee. You will be the chief technical authority on MDM, defining the end-to-end architecture, data models, governance processes, and integration patterns. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to ensure the MDM solution aligns with strategic business objectives and drives data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the organization. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Architecture: Develop and own the enterprise MDM strategy, solution architecture, and implementation roadmap. Design scalable, high-performance MDM solutions (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid) that encompass data modeling, data quality, data governance, and data integration. Define the canonical data models, match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and data stewardship workflows for all master data domains. Evaluate and help DEV team implement Reltio MDM - and best practices. Implementation & Integration: Lead the technical design and implementation of the Reltio MDM platform. Architect and design real-time (API) and batch integration patterns to synchronize master data between the MDM hub and critical enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, data warehouse). Oversee the configuration of the Reltio MDM solution to meet business requirements. Data Governance & Quality: Collaborate with the Data Governance Office and business data stewards to define and enforce data quality rules, standards, and policies within the MDM solution. Design data quality dashboards and reports to monitor the health of master data. Establish and manage the technical processes for data stewardship, including issue resolution and change management. Leadership & Collaboration: Act as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders, data governance teams, and development teams. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical specifications. Mentor and provide technical guidance to ETL Integrations data engineers, developers, and Reltio MDM analysts. Champion the value of master data management and data governance across the organization. Skills and Qualifications Required Qualifications Experience: 8-12+ years of experience in data management, data architecture, or enterprise architecture. 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale MDM solutions. Technical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of at least one major MDM Reltio. Deep understanding of MDM concepts: data modeling, matching, merging, hierarchy management, data quality, and stewardship. Strong experience with data integration technologies and patterns (ETL/ELT, APIs, message queues, web services). Proficiency in SQL and data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical). Experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications Experience with multiple MDM platforms. Hands-on experience with data engineering tools (e.g., Python, Spark, Databricks). Knowledge of data governance frameworks. Familiarity with data catalog and metadata management tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation). Professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, DAMA, cloud provider certifications, or tool-specific MDM certifications). Experience in a specific industry (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Retail) and its related data domains (e.g., Patient, Financial Instrument). Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Reltio. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
