Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data solutions on Amazon Redshift. This role is central to enabling scalable analytics, robust data pipelines, and secure data access across Commercial, Financial, and HR domains. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with modern data platforms and engineering tools, and will collaborate closely with BI developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data is clean, accessible, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT frameworks to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Design and maintain data lakehouse and warehouse architectures across cloud and hybrid environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Define and enforce data modeling standards (dimensional, relational, NoSQL) for structured and semi-structured data.
• Lead the integration of data from enterprise systems such as AWS Redshift, Salesforce, Workday, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build real-time streaming and batch processing solutions using tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Implement data quality frameworks, including validation rules, anomaly detection, and automated testing.
• Establish and maintain metadata management, data lineage, and master data management practices.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
• Provide architectural guidance for BI and analytics teams, including support for Power BI, Quick Sight, Tableau, and other visualization tools.
• Document architecture decisions, data flows, and technical standards for internal knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture and engineering roles.
• AWS Certified Data Analytics or Solutions Architect certification would be a plus.
• Proven expertise in:

Cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Glue, Talend, Informatica, dbt, Apache NiFi)

ETL Orchestration tools like Step Functions and Lambda’s.

Data ingestion frameworks like AppFlow or Kafka.

Big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)

SQL, Python, and/or Scala for data processing

Data warehousing and Lakehouse design

Integration with ERP and CRM systems

Data governance and compliance frameworks

Enabling data for data science use cases

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control for data workflows.
• Strong understanding of data security, access control, and role-based permissions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
