Data Architect

Requirements

8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related field

Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and methodologies

Expertise in SQL and database design for both relational and non-relational databases

Experience with data integration tools and ETL/ELT processes

Understanding of data governance principles and practices

Proficiency in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.)

Experience with data visualization and BI tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Job responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture frameworks and models

Establish data governance policies, standards, and procedures

Create and manage data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data catalogs

Develop and implement data integration strategies across multiple platforms and systems

Lead data modeling efforts including conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Evaluate and recommend database technologies and tools to meet business needs

Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations

Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership
