Data Center & Cloud Network Engineer 5 plus years of experience
Project: Server Burn-in
Responsibilities:
Provision and maintain Data Center infrastructure including IP planning, subnetting, and firewall rules
Work with hardware teams to perform burn-in tests, diagnostics, and server validations
Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash for testing and provisioning
Handle network protocols and configuration across systems and cloud platforms
Design and execute automated test cases for hardware and Kubernetes-deployed applications
Deploy and manage containers using Docker and Kubernetes
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
Work closely with Cloud teams (AWS / GCP / Azure / Oracle Cloud) for infrastructure provisioning
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Subnetting, Firewalls)
Proficiency in CLI tools and network troubleshooting commands (ping, traceroute, nslookup, etc.).
Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Experience in Data Center service provisioning
Strong hands-on experience with IP subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching (L2/L3), and firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
Proficient in Python and Bash scripting
Experience with hardware testing / burn-in testing tools
Hands-on with Kubernetes and Docker – basic pod deployments, services
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
Comfortable with Linux environments and using common CLI tools
Exposure to at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle Cloud)
