The Amazon Pricing & Promotions Analytics team seeks a Senior Data Engineer to build automated pricing solutions that deliver competitive prices to customers. In this role, you will design and implement data analytics solutions that drive pricing decisions while creating automated anomaly detection systems to monitor pricing effectiveness. Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement modern data pipelines and business intelligence solutions
- Configure and optimize AWS services including EC2, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, and Lambda
- Create scalable data architecture to support analytics, data science, and customer reporting needs
- Collaborate with technology teams to develop ETL processes across multiple data sources
- Automate reporting systems and enhance self-service analytics capabilities for customers

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- 4+ years of SQL experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
- Bachelor's degree
