We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Engineer with a strong background in database development, API integration, and enterprise system connectivity. This role will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing robust data solutions that ensure seamless data flow across systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create and support high-performance integrations between enterprise applications.

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and data transformation solutions across Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
  

• Develop and maintain integrations using RESTful and SOAP web services.
  

• Create and optimize PL/SQL packages and database objects.
  

• Build scalable, secure APIs and microservices leveraging Java.
  

• Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and business teams to gather integration requirements and design effective solutions.
  

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve integration and database issues.
  

• Implement and maintain security protocols for API and data integration, particularly utilizing Layer 7 API Management tools.
  

• Document all integration solutions, database schemas, and operational procedures.
  

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions in Oracle and PostgreSQL environments.
  

• Strong expertise in PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
  

• Solid experience working with REST and SOAP web services for system integrations.
  

• Experience with Layer 7 API Management (CA API Gateway).
  

• Knowledge of database performance optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting.
  

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  

• Experience in Java development, particularly for backend services and API consumption.
  

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud integration practices.
  

• Experience working with API Gateway policies (Layer 7 customizations and scripting).
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for database and integration deployments.
  

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  

• Exposure to data security, encryption standards, and secure API best practices.
  

• Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
