Data Scientist

Overview

Responsibilities:

● Lead the development of sophisticated customer science models including churn prediction, customer segmentation frameworks, and lifetime value (LTV) models

● Translate complex business problems into analytical solutions that address marketing use cases

● Oversee data pipeline development and optimization across cloud platforms

● Mentor and develop a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and measure the impact of data-driven strategies

● Establish best practices for model development, validation, and deployment

Qualifications:

● Minimum 6 years of experience building customer science models, particularly in churn modelling, segmentation frameworks, and LTV modelling

● Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and model development

● Demonstrated experience working with cloud platforms including GCP and AWS

● Expert-level knowledge of big data technologies including Big Query and AWS Redshift

● Experience applying data science to marketing use cases and problems

● Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

● Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related)

Technical Skills:

● Experience with AWS EMR Studio

● Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative discipline

● Experience leading data science teams

● Knowledge of ML-Ops practices and tools

● Understanding of the Indian market dynamics and customer behaviour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
