Position Summary

• Assist with database development efforts, including database design, coding, and documentation.
• Writing and modifying medium to complex stored procedures and Triggers
• Develop complex reports using SSRS
• SQL programming and general database administration.
• Usage of databases available on the cloud is preferred but not mandatory.
• Analyses, troubleshoots, and debugs the stored procedures from performance tuning perspective.
• Must have proven ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines and well developed time management skills.
  
  

Technical Expertise

• Strong skills in database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server) including database development (T-SQL).
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Good understanding of object-oriented design concepts.
  
  

Principal Accountabilities

• Strong knowledge of systems and software development lifecycles; application integration techniques; and relational database design.
• Sound knowledge of Scrum methodology of agile software development and its application.
• Prepare design specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects.
• Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.
• Provides general support on information technology to design, develop, execute, and maintain the database
• Test databases and perform bug fixes.
• Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
  
  

Supervisory And Reporting Responsibility

• The position will report into the Lead Database Developer
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in any discipline or related
• We welcome freshers with excellent communication and explanation skills
• Knowledge of Travel business will get a preference.
