As a key member of our DevOps team, the Senior Associate DevSecOps will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of our software delivery pipeline through the use of cutting-edge technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• DevSecOps Implementation:
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security into the entire software development lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain security controls and measures across the DevOps pipeline.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and templates for automated provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources.
• Implement best practices for IaC, ensuring consistency and version control.
• Automation:
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows for continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure automation.
• Streamline and automate manual processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Security Automation:
• Integrate security tools and automation into the DevOps pipeline to enable continuous security testing and monitoring.
• Implement security policies as code to ensure security is embedded into infrastructure and application code.
• Vulnerability Management:
• Conduct regular security scans and vulnerability assessments on infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with security teams to remediate and address identified vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security professionals.
• Provide expertise and guidance on DevSecOps best practices to promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IaC scripts, automation workflows, and security processes.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps or Security role with a focus on DevSecOps practices, IaC, and automation.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience with security tools.
• Security Certifications:
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)) are a plus.
