DevOps Engineer - AWS Infrastructure

Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Windows Server environments to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD workflows that support scalable, secure, and highly available applications.

This role requires hands-on expertise in automation, configuration management, system administration, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

AWS Infrastructure Management :

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments using EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and related services.
• Build and support high availability and disaster recovery architectures.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  
  

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft services.
• Support Windows-based application deployments and server hardening.
• Oversee patching, performance tuning, and system troubleshooting.
  
  

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate operational processes using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation.
  
  

• Ensure cloud and on-prem environments follow security best practices.
• Implement IAM roles, policies, MFA enforcement, and network security controls.
• Support compliance programs (SOC2, ISO, etc.) by maintaining documentation and audit readiness.
  
  

• Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline operations and improve delivery cycles.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
  
  

• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent automation frameworks.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS architecture and services.
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, AD, and enterprise Windows administration.
• Proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell & C# required; Python a plus).
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPN, firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, etc.
• Experience building deployment stack to release containerized applications and lambda services.
• Familiarity with building observability stack using tools like Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Knowledge of AI/ML or NLP frameworks including Vertex AI or AWS Textract.
• Knowledge of AWS, Google or Azure cloud platforms.
• Ability to work in a team environment utilizing strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and learn new technologies.
