Role Environment Analyst L5

Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Job Summary –

Looking for a Technology focused Environment Analyst to join C&I Commercial Lending Environment Delivery Team, where candidate would be involved in building and maintaining Test Environments while working with Environments Lead.

Environments Management Team caters to day-to-day business requirements and maintaining the steady state in business capability and improving the efficiency. This role is for an environment build & support role, Environment Analyst, reporting into the Lead. The candidate should ideally have 12+ years of IT experience with strong Technical background and preferably experience on Java MS, DevOps tools and PNF/AWS Cloud based technology. Person will be accountable for ensuring environment availability (with very less/no downtime) along with other environment aspects like environment build as per design, DevOps pipeline setup, access controls, code/artefact deployments, Incident management, configuration management & operational activities.

Mphasis is seeking Environment Analyst for supporting high critical releases for one of our clients. The candidate is expected to possess excellent communication and process skills. There are number of changes & Releases planned throughout the year to meet customer and regularity requirement. It also provides avenues of Open Banking for Commercial Cards customers. The release analyst facilitates change governance process for the program.

The candidate should also have 10 plus years of relevant IT experience with strong Technical background and preferably experience on deploying and implementing java microservices and .net deployed dlls, plugins and services Java Microservices, DevOps tools and PNF/AWS Cloud based technology and account management. Person will be accountable for ensuring environment availability (with very less/no downtime) along with other environment aspects like access controls, code/artefact deployments, test data management, configuration management.

Platform Support Environments Management Team (PSEMT) caters to day-to-day business requirements and maintaining the steady state in business capability and improving the efficiency.

 8+ years relevant years of experience

Technical Skills:

 Work on a Program me level environment build & release support activities under Agile Scrum Modal.

 Work closely with DevOps team to find new paths and help teams to adopt new tools & technologies.

 Work closely with all impacted platform systems and understand testing requirement and convert into environment build.

 Optimization of Stakeholder Queries.

 Run and execute Incident Management calls and get the resolution of issues from Platforms.

 Help to Maintain high environment availability and liaise with external teams, to restore the service, whenever service goes down.

Must have all the following:

Primary Skills: .Net application build, deployment and implementation support including IIS setup.

Secondary Skills: MYSQL, Oracle, Informatica, Autosys.

◦ Knowledge of &/or experience in Environment related function & activities.

◦ Knowledge of &/or experience in Java Microservices, DevOps tools and PNF/AWS Cloud based technology

◦ Well verse with environment aspect like access control, code/artefact deployments, change management, source control management, version control

◦ Well verse with documentation and process definitions.

▪ Good Communication skill (Written & verbal)

▪ Flexibility around availability (shifts/weekends/holidays)

Must have Knowledge of &/or experience in all or some of the following

◦ Exposure / Knowledge on Java, Microservices, Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Angular etc

◦ Knowledge on cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Perimeter Network Fabric (PNF), AWS

◦ Continuous Integration / Deployment – Gitlab, Teamcity, Artifactory, DART, Consul, UCD.

◦ Working experience on tools like Atlassian Tools – JIRA & Confluence, Splunk, DX APM, HPSA, Putty etc.

◦ Knowledge on UNIX shell scripts, any scripting languages like Python, Ant, Maven, Ruby to do automation in the environments.

◦ Knowledge on the WAS, Tomcat, Apache servers.
