DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and technically sound DevOps Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience, particularly in Linux environments (Ubuntu). The ideal candidate should be capable of setting up and managing deployment environments, configuring servers, and supporting application deployment for multiple tech stacks including Java, Python, Angular, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer Ubuntu-based Linux servers, including installation of software, patches, and updates.
• Execute Linux commands and automate routine server management tasks.
• Set up and maintain deployment environments for applications built with Java, Python, Angular, Ionic, and Flutter.
• Install and configure databases such as MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring proper access for development teams.
• Use tools like WinSCP, Putty, Puttygen for secure server access and file transfers.
• Configure and manage Virtual Hosts, SSL Certificates, and OpenSSL.
• Implement security best practices, including firewall/port restrictions, antivirus setup, and applying VAPT recommendations.
• Deploy and manage builds for backend and frontend applications across multiple environments.
• Proactively monitor server health across various projects and clients, track renewals and maintenance schedules.
• Act as a single point of contact for client IT teams regarding server and deployment-related queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Linux Server Administrator.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ubuntu/Linux environments.
• Experience in deploying and managing applications across diverse tech stacks.
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining MySQL, MongoDB databases.
• Solid understanding of server security and best practices.
• Familiarity with networking, server monitoring, and resource optimization.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deployments/projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
