You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable deployment pipelines while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using AWS ECS (Fargate & EC2 launch types)
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK
- Optimize and manage AWS services such as ECS, ECR, ALB, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch, and S3
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting with tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog
- Work with developers to improve deployment strategies, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance
- Ensure security best practices by managing IAM roles, security groups, and implementing compliance policies
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and provide solutions for scalability and high availability
- Stay up to date with the latest DevOps trends and AWS best practices
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE
- Hands-on experience deploying applications using AWS ECS (Fargate/EC2)
- Strong expertise with Docker & container orchestration
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK Stack
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
- Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, ALB, Security Groups, Route 53)
- Experience implementing security best practices in AWS environments
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS) is a plus
- AWS certification (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator)
- Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway)
- Hands-on experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux
- Background in performance optimization for cloud applications
