We are looking for a DevOps Engineer II to join our DevOps team located in Bangalore, reporting to the Senior Manager of DevOps. In this role, you will fully automate provisioning, deployment, management, and monitoring for a rapidly evolving and highly scalable set of SaaS services. You will work with members of the DevOps team alongside a DevOps architect to ensure best practices are implemented across applications, lead teams in the direction of initiatives such as CI/CD and enterprise monitoring, and work on support services operational on the cloud.

What you’ll do:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for DevOps, leading with best practices
- Participate in DevOps Platform Engineering activities
- Collaborate with architects to deliver projects such as fully automated CI/CD, building microservice platforms, launching developer tools, monitoring, and implementing security patterns to maximize productivity and reduce manual work
- Support architects, DevOps team members, and managers with technical decision-making
- Develop expertise in Golang programming
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating on AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Guide DevOps/SRE teams on critical issues and reliability improvements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps and SRE disciplines
- Expertise in Golang programming
- Experience designing and managing multi-cloud environments on AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in various cloud environments
- Experience configuring and managing Kubernetes resources, including pods, services, deployments, and namespaces
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure components, including Kubernetes clusters
- Background in developing automation using programming languages, with a preference for Python and Golang
- Experience implementing and advocating for security best practices for Kubernetes and containerized environments, including RBAC, network policies, and image scanning
- Ability to optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, scalability, and resource utilization
- Ability to stay updated with the latest Kubernetes and DevOps trends, tools, and best practices
After six months, you will…
- Become the SME for all infrastructure platform activities at Infoblox
- Learn new skills related to cloud technologies, Infoblox services, and DevOps practices
- Contribute to the design of Infoblox internal platforms
- Make significant contributions to our services and cloud platform design and processes, and become an expert in platform engineering
