Overview
We are currently hiring for DevOps Engineer II to join our engineering team at Baazi Games. This role plays a crucial part in scaling our cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our gaming platforms. You'll be working with a passionate tech team that drives operational excellence across our multi-cloud architecture.

- Automation and Scripting: Build infrastructure automation using Python (must), C#, Java, Ruby, Perl, SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL technologies.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and manage infrastructure with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, etc.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and maintain scalable, secure multi-cloud environments with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and ArgoCD for smooth deployments and fast iterations.
- Monitoring and Alerts: Set up monitoring dashboards and alerting mechanisms using Grafana, Prometheus, and APM tools.
- Incident Management: Own the root cause analysis of incidents and proactively work on preventive solutions. Participate in on-call rotations.
- DevSecOps: Enforce security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
- Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain detailed documentation and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to optimize system performance.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps roles with strong GCP infrastructure management expertise.
- Hands-on with container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Strong command of Python (must); Golang or Shell scripting is a bonus.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and APM platforms.
- Experience in debugging, incident management, and performance tuning of cloud-native systems.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery strategies and business continuity planning.
- Exposure to security frameworks and DevSecOps practices.
