The Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Kyndryl, you will play a key role in specific project deliverables and will work on improving current processes to reduce manual work by building, testing and deploying automation for the enterprise cloud platform. This is a full hands-on position that requires previous experience building cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for large-scale, multi-account environments across different public cloud providers. You will be part of Engineering team that builds and supports workloads across multiple public cloud vendors. A successful candidate will bring a strong background in automation, software engineering, scripting, and building cloud solutions from scratch.

Responsibilities Includes:

• Build and maintain our cloud platforms and support applications, demonstrating agile and dynamic application support capabilities.

• Contribute to our continuous improvement and continuous delivery while increasing the maturity of DevOps practices.

• Develop and implement automated DevOps capabilities.

• Work effectively in collaboration with different teams, both local and remote.

• Support mission critical environment with strong performance tuning, end-to-end troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals.

• Implementing various testing, development, automation tools.

• Work towards continuous improvement while building continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipelines

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer supporting modern technology stacks.

• Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.

• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of technical risks.

• Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working under pressure without compromising processes and productivity.

• A committed and reliable team player, able to take direction and actively contribute to discussions on design and strategy.

• Interest in new technologies and the ability to learn quickly.

• Proficient in English with good communication skills in Vietnamese for collaboration with cross-functional teams

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• With bachelor's degree or master’s degree

• Terraform or Ansible certifications are a big plus.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Kiali.
