Job Summary: Wissen Technology is hiring a Devops+SRE Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed applications and infrastructure. The role involves monitoring systems, implementing automation, managing incidents, and collaborating with product engineering teams to maintain best practices.

Experience: 3- 7 years

Location: Bengaluru

Mode of Work: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor system health and proactively detect issues.
  
• Create strategies for issue detection and resolution.
  
• Implement automated systems for troubleshooting and remediation.
  
• Write and review post-mortem reports for incidents.
  
• Manage infrastructure supporting multiple product teams.
  
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure adherence to best practices.
  
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Ensure application performance through analysis and tuning.
  
  

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS preferred; familiarity with common services in other clouds acceptable).
  
• Strong Linux scripting skills (bash/sh/zsh); Windows scripting is a plus.
  
• Basic programming knowledge in Python (preferred), Java, or JavaScript.
  
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
  
• Proficiency in CI/CD processes and tools.
  
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization; Kubernetes/Terraform is a plus.
  
• Experience working on distributed applications with multiple services.
  
• Strong incident management skills.
  
• Basic database query knowledge.
  
• Understanding of application performance analysis.
