Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs using C#, integrating with databases via ADO.NET, and writing advanced SQL procedures, triggers, and database objects. The candidate should also be familiar with API testing and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C# (.NET Framework / .NET Core)

Implement secure and efficient data access layers using ADO.NET

Create and manage complex SQL Server databases including:

Stored Procedures

Triggers

Functions

Views

Indexes

Write optimized, reusable, and testable backend code

Collaborate with front-end developers and QA teams to integrate and test APIs

Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar

Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend services

Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and bug fixing

Document technical workflows and logic clearly

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (Framework/Core)

Hands-on experience with ADO.NET

Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database concepts

Expertise in writing stored procedures, triggers, and complex SQL queries

Experience in RESTful API design and development

Good understanding of HTTP protocols, status codes, and API versioning

Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.

Familiar with concepts like transactions, joins, indexing, normalization
