POSITION SUMMARY
Zoetis is one of the largest manufacturers of Animal Health products and providers across the full continuum of care. Zoetis is seeking to hire a experienced and dynamic Agile Scrum Master to join our eCommerce team.
The Scrum Master is a servant leader and coach for an Agile Team and supports the team in delivering value. This role will help mature the Agile Team through Agile values, principles, and practices and will facilitate impediment removal and foster an environment for high-performing teams.
This role is responsible for facilitating and guiding the scrum team in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework - which includes organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, promoting collaboration and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and values.
The agile Scrum Master will be working closely with the scrum teams composed of but not limited to Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Manager, Testers and stakeholders such as Business Process Owners, ZTD Business Partners, and other technical teams to understand business need and drive value delivery.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Percent of Time
Facilitate regular planning sessions which includes preparation for the planning, coordination with other teams, creation of the planning objectives, and review of the final plan. 5%
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development Teams to define and prioritize the product backlog. 15%
Facilitate Technical and Functional Grooming are held and effective following the Scrum framework 15%
Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives). 15%
Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of eCommerce features and functionalities. 15%
Track and report on key metrics (e.g., sprint burndown, velocity, and throughput). 15%
Remove impediments and blockers to enable seamless sprint execution. 15%
Guide and coach stakeholders, team on Agile best practices and principles to enhance team performance. 5%
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of related work experience/schooling
* 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
* SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master certification is a plus.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
* Extensive experience in the practice and application of Agile framework such as Kanban, Scrum, and SAFe.
* Demonstrated success in removing blockers and driving Agile maturity.
* Good experience with Agile technologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
* Experience working in eCommerce platforms (e.g., SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus).
* Experience working with a range of stakeholders on business and technology.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Flexibility to work times with at least 4 hr. overlap with US EST Time zone.
