Our platform includes mobile applications for patients and doctors, as well as web applications for medical store owners and internal operations. We're in an exciting phase of growth, consolidating our tech stack and enhancing our architecture to support rapid feature development.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Frontend Developer who will play a critical role in our engineering team. You'll help drive the consolidation of our legacy web applications while supporting our newer React Native mobile initiatives. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our codebase architecture and establish patterns that will scale with our company.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development efforts across multiple React and React Native applications
• Collaborate on the consolidation of legacy web applications into a more modern, maintainable codebase
• Establish reusable component libraries and consistent patterns across applications
• Design and implement robust, type-safe, and testable frontend code
• Work closely with the Co-founder and product team to ensure high-quality implementation of features
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to raising the overall quality of our frontend codebase
• Contribute to technical decisions regarding architecture, tooling, and development practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with React
• Strong TypeScript skills and understanding of static typing benefits
• Experience with React Native and cross-platform component sharing
• Proven track record of building maintainable, scalable frontend architectures
• Experience with modern frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, etc.) and state management solutions
• Knowledge of CSS-in-JS libraries and component styling approaches
• Understanding of automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous operations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly

• Experience with healthcare applications or HIPAA-compliant software
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and Figma
• Experience migrating legacy applications to modern frameworks
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Golang, or Deno
• Experience mentoring junior developers
• Contributions to open-source projects
