Shift Timing: 06:30 PM IST – 3:30 AM IST (US Eastern Time Overlap)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer with a strong focus on CSS. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with experience working on CMS platforms. While Shopify experience is not required, the ability to quickly adapt and learn is essential. You should be proficient in CSS and SCSS, with a solid understanding of design principles and typography. Experience with Tailwind is a plus, but we value a deep understanding of core CSS more highly. Attention to detail is critical, as you will be working on themes that require precision and creativity. Experience with e-commerce is also a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using CSS/SCSS.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages.
• Leverage your design background to ensure that typography and visual elements are well executed.
• Optimize web pages for performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• Work with the development team to implement best practices and maintain code quality.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in CSS and SCSS. Experience with Tailwind CSS (a plus, but not essential).
• Experience working with content management systems (CMS).
• Familiarity with design tools, especially Figma.
• Strong understanding of typography and design principles.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (a plus).
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Decent communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey ideas clearly.
• Ability to provide samples of code work to demonstrate your CSS expertise. Local environments or staging sites are okay to show.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Shopify (a plus, but not required).
• Basic to intermediate understanding of JavaScript.
