Frontend Software Engineer

Ideally you have a strong background in web application frontend development, software engineering principles, with a passion for data driven decisions and design. You have a passion for measuring usage and continuously improving the experience and effectiveness of your applications. You have experience from working in a cloud environment (GCP preferred) with minimum 5+ year work experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role we believe you have experience from frontend development in a large corporation agile environment. In addition, we think that you have analytical skills and experience in understanding complex contexts. You are self-motivated and have strong communication and collaboration skills, paired with an eye for knowing what needs to be done as a team-player. On top of your personality matching the team there are a few musts and wants we will validate during the recruitment process:

Musts
- Proven experience in Frontend development with clean, efficient, and well-documented code using various languages including React, Node.js, Python or equivalent is necessary
- Interact with databases such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL and Cloud Firestore (via Firebase)
- Experience from working in micro service architectures
- Experience from building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub actions
- Experience from working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Knowledge of event-based processing frameworks like EventBridge(AWS), PubSub and Streaming dataflows
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software engineering and cloud computing

Merit
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and utilize DBT for data transformation
- Work with data orchestration services like Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Workflows and Cloud Composer
