Who we are

SAP AI Services Team is part of the AI Product Engineering organisation in the OCEO Board Area, responsible for delivering scalable, reusable, state-of-the-art AI technologies to SAP's development teams to build embedded AI and customers and partners to create custom extensions.

SAP AI Services automate and optimize corporate processes by adding intelligence to applications using AI models pre-trained on business-relevant data, available on SAP Business Technology Platform.

What you'll do

We seek a full-stack cloud developer to work on cloud services for machine learning-based document processing solutions leveraging generative AI. We seek someone eager to learn, a creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things to work and able to work independently or collaboratively.

In this role, you will:

• • Work with an international team of cloud developers across India, Germany and Singapore, taking on challenges posed by SAP customers and product units
  • Design and implement state-of-the-art cloud solutions for machine learning-based document processing applications
  • Work closely together with a team of dedicated experts including developers, machine learning experts and architects with one single goal - to design beautiful and disruptive cloud-based document processing solutions

What you bring
Technical skills :

• • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5-7 years of working experience as a software developer, preferrable in AI-focused cloud application development.
  • Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, design patterns and software design principles.
  • Hands-on knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js,
  • Sound knowledge of popular application frameworks/libraries such as Flask, Spring, Play, React etc.
  • Excellent web UI programming skills (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SAP UI5, Fiori)
  • Knowledge of UI Design Patterns and Interactions.
  • Fundamental knowledge of container & orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes etc.
  • Hands-on knowledge in designing and implementing RESTful APIs in a cloud microservice architecture on SAP BTP would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of open-source cloud frameworks such as OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, etc. would be an advantage.

Soft skills :

• • Proficiency in written & oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Work together as one team, fostering transparent communication and knowledge sharing.
