Zeny is looking for a passionate Full Stack Developer to join our core product team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end features across our customer and internal platforms. You will work closely with the founding team, product managers, and designers to craft intuitive, high-performance, and secure financial experiences for millions of underserved users.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end development: Design, build, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications.
• Architecture & Design: Contribute to system architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Integration: Build APIs and integrate with third-party services including payment gateways, mutual fund platforms, and ONDC.
• User Experience: Work closely with UI/UX to create simple, accessible experiences—optimized for low-literacy, multilingual, and low-data environments.
• Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Collaboration: Participate in agile sprints, code reviews, and team discussions.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure data privacy and compliance with financial regulations (e.g., SEBI, RBI).
• Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, suggest optimizations, and adopt modern development practices.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

• Experience: 0–5 years of professional software development experience, with exposure to both frontend and backend with extreme ownership.
• Frontend Skills: Proficiency in frameworks like React.
• Backend Skills: Strong experience in frameworks like Node.js/NestJS.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with PostgreSQL.
• API Development: RESTful API design and implementation.
• Deployment: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in fintech or building products for the informal workers segment.
• Exposure to AI/voice interfaces or chatbot frameworks.
• Knowledge of ONDC integration or Indian payment systems (UPI, BBPS, etc.).
• Mobile app development (native or cross-platform).
• Understanding of security best practices for financial applications.
