Full Stack Developer

About the job:

We're a lean founding team with a clear product vision, detailed technical roadmap, and deep conviction about the problem we're solving. You'll be one of the founding engineers, taking on a significant role in the development of the FreeInFive mobile app from ground zero to App Store/Play Store launch.

In this role, you'll have a strong say in product decisions, tech stack choices, and architecture. Your decisions shape one of our core portfolio applications.

Please note that this position is listed as part-time, but we are open to those who are looking for full-time jobs as well

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate UI/UX designs and mockups into high-quality, responsive Flutter (Dart) code
2. Support in integrating the frontend with our Supabase backend, specifically implementing user authentication and managing database logic
3. Collaborate directly with the co-founders to rapidly iterate on features, write clean, testable code.
4. Use AI coding tools (like Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding assistants) in helping to manage the full app lifecycle.

PostgreSQL, Flutter, REST API, Dart, Backend development, Firebase and Generative AI Tools

Other Requirements:

1. Portfolio that speaks for itself: Clean GitHub profile with actual projects (not just forked repos). Code quality matters more than quantity. Bonus: Apps with native integrations (camera, notifications, background tasks)

2. Nice-to-haves: Push notification implementation (FCM), state management patterns (Riverpod, Provider, Bloc), experience building with Flutterflow, health/wellness or productivity app experience, previous startup experience

3. Bachelor's or master's in computer science, software engineering, or similar education from top engineering institutes

4. 1+ years Flutter experience

5. Supabase experience or strong familiarity with similar BaaS platforms (Firebase & AWS)

6. Must: Know how to leverage AI to write better code faster.

7. Native platform knowledge: At least basic exposure to iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development, understanding of Platform Channels, OR strong willingness to learn
