About the job:

MatAll is building a quick commerce platform for construction and home repair materials, delivering essentials to job sites within hours. We're solving a broken, offline-heavy supply chain with speed, transparency, and tech-first execution.

You will be the first engineer at MatAll, responsible for designing, building, shipping, breaking, fixing, and scaling everything across the product ecosystem, including user mobile apps (iOS and Android), supplier mobile apps, web apps for users, admin panels (web and mobile), as well as backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure.

Please note that there is no existing tech team. You will figure things out, build fast MVPs, and improve continuously. If you're looking for structured guidance or hand-holding, this is not the time that our expectations will align.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Building end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and mobile.
2. Shipping working products quickly, focusing on usability over perfection.
3. Using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) extensively to accelerate development.
4. Deploying and managing applications on AWS or similar platforms.
5. Debugging issues in production and fixing them quickly.
6. Working closely with founders to convert ideas into shipped features within days.

Other Requirements:

1. Some experience in building and shipping apps (college, internship, or freelance projects count). (Must-have)

2. Built and shipped at least one live product (share links). (Must-have)

3. Experience in building marketplace, delivery, or quick commerce apps (clones also count). (Good to have)

4. Understanding of real-time systems, location, or logistics flows. (Good to have)

5. Startup or side project experience. (Good to have)

6. Knowledge of Node.js (Express or similar).

7. Knowledge of React (web).

8. Knowledge of Flutter or React Native (mobile).

9. Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL.

10. Actively used AI tools to build real features or products (e.g., Claude, Lovable, or similar tools).

11. Comfortable learning new technologies quickly without guidance.

12. Based in or willing to work from the Gurugram office.
