About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, optimise, and maintain our frontend applications built using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
2. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth communication between the React frontend and Django-Wagtail backend.
3. Work closely with our design and content teams to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality web interfaces.
4. Troubleshoot, debug, and improve performance across the frontend.
5. (Preferred) Support in backend development using Django, Wagtail, and Python when required.
6. Manage deployments and versioning on Netlify; collaborate on CI/CD workflows.
7. (Plus) Leverage AWS services for hosting, storage, or DevOps pipelines.
8. Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.

Other Requirements:

1. 1. Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
2. 2. Experience with modern frontend tools such as Vite, Webpack, Babel, Tailwind/SCSS, or similar.
3. 3. Understanding of REST APIs and integration between frontend and backend.
4. 4. Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows.
