Full Stack Developer (Java, C++)

We're seeking a Senior Engineer proficient in C++ and Java known for their proactive approach, dedication to quality development, and collaborative spirit. What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and unit test Riverbed® Portal features, with end-to-end responsibility for feature success throughout the development lifecycle
• Translate requirements and user stories into design specifications and solid code
• Own and manage the delivery of a complex technical product spanning the front-end and back-end services
• Work in an agile environment with a regular release cadence
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix product issues in fielded capabilities
• Continuous focus and contribution in the areas of performance, availability & scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the product
• Collaborate across Riverbed teams on various cross-product features and initiatives
  
  

What Makes You An Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (or equivalent)
• Experience of at least 6 years of backend development
• Strong Development skills in Object Oriented languages and specifically C++ and Java
• Understanding of data structures and problem-solving approaches, and ability to articulate trade-offs
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Experience in Linux, Docker, Azure and AWS services
• Experience with monitoring solutions such Grafana
• Familiar with DevOps processes and deep knowledge of CI/CD methodologies
• Familiar in Java, Spring/ Spring Boot as well as industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and code reviews
• Strong working knowledge of Object-Oriented Design & Development
• Proactive, able to unblock yourself if needed
• Strong geographically distributed cross-team communication skills
