Your Role at Appcrafters

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a vital role in the development, optimization, and maintenance of our applications. You’ll work closely with our senior engineers and designers to ensure our products deliver seamless user experiences and meet business objectives.

Type of Employment

• Full-Time, Remote
• Location: Open to candidates across India; complete WFH available.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Features: Design, develop, and test software applications, ensuring efficiency and maintainability.
• Build efficient, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop backend functionality using Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS, ensuring quality through test-driven development
• Database Management: Work with relational and non-relational databases for data storage and retrieval.
• API Integration: Implement and consume RESTful APIs for smooth application functionality.
• UI Optimization: Collaborate with designers to refine user interfaces, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility.
• Bug Fixing & Maintenance: Debug issues, optimize performance, and ensure application stability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and product managers.
• Version Control: Use Git and tools like GitHub to manage and review codebases.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience (4+ years): Proven track record with development for mobile and web applications, ideally in a fast-paced, agile tech environment.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one OOP language, preferred Java (e.g., Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript).
• Database Knowledge: Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Communication: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
• Self-Starter: Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and adapt to dynamic challenges.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Front-End or Back-End Development Experience: Exposure to web, mobile, or backend development frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile: Experience working in Agile environments or familiarity with its principles.
• Design System Knowledge: Experience developing System Architecture and System Designs, a minimum of 2 years.
• Tailwind CSS: Hands-on experience with responsive design frameworks.
• Version control: Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub, and related dev-ops tools for collaborative development and deployment workflows.
• Project Collaboration Tools: Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
