Overview

Software Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining Java-based applications and systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud computing platforms.
  • Proficient in using development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React) is a plus.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Java developers and ensure the high-quality delivery of software.
  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient Java-based applications and systems.
  • Design and implement solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Category-wise Technical Skills:

Backend:

  • Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate/JPA.
  • Microservices architecture, RESTful API design.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.

Frontend:

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React (nice to have).

DevOps:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).

Testing:

  • Unit, integration, and system testing.
  • Test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of Java developers.
  • Previous experience in delivering Java-based solutions for large enterprises.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement new technologies.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in Java development (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Developer) are highly desirable.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
