About the job:
Key responsibilities:
1 - Build highly scalable distributed solutions across the full stack to enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
2 - Support design and code reviews to ensure adherence to coding best practices, unit testing, security, and scalability guidelines.
3 - Collaborate with front-end designers and engineers, as well as back-end engineers, for seamless integration.
4 - Review and maintain code quality, provide development and testing support, and implement end-to-end integration applications.
5 - Identify issues and patterns to improve system quality and develop standard operating procedures.
6 - Enhance applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and implementing solutions.
7 - Maintain and improve existing codebases while performing peer code reviews.
8 - Use analytical skills to leverage large datasets, identify trends, patterns, and errors, and improve processes.

Skills required:

Other Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with GCP, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, AirFlow, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and DBT.
- Hands-on exposure to SQL and basic knowledge of Python programming.
- Understanding of Data Engineering/Transformations, GCP DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong application development experience with complex business logic is a plus.
- Experience working in a Data Warehouse and Regulatory Reporting projects is preferred.
- Delivery-focused, resilient, and able to complete tasks independently.
- Ability to work in agile development environments and pursue continuous learning.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
