About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead – Cloud (GCP) to join our Business Services team. This role will focus on developing and enhancing cloud-based data solutions for our life sciences and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, data engineering, and DevOps practices. This is a hybrid role based in Hyderabad or Pune, and we are considering only immediate joiners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers involved in cloud and data engineering projects
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL and data processing pipelines using GCP services
• Migrate and modernize existing systems from on-premise to cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders
• Develop scripts and automation tools using Python and Shell scripting for operational efficiency
• Utilize GCP components such as BigQuery, DataFlow, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, GCS, and Airflow
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Adhere to agile development methodologies, and participate in sprint planning and code reviews
• Document system designs, workflows, and standard operating procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8 to 12 years of experience in data engineering, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, DataFlow, Pub/Sub, GCS, Airflow, and Cloud SQL
• Proficiency in Python programming and Shell scripting
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and cloud-native ETL design
• Experience with Hadoop, Kafka/NiFi, and RDBMS technologies
• Familiarity with Terraform and Google Cloud SDK for automation and infrastructure provisioning
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and mentor technical teams
• Experience working within agile, DevOps-driven environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• GCP Data Engineer Certification
• Experience using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git for project management and version control
• Background in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or BFSI domains is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
