Overview
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using GCP services
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and SDLC processes
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide daily status updates
- Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows
- 5+ to 12 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP services:
- BigQuery
- DataProc
- Dataflow
- Dataform
- Pub/Sub
- Strong proficiency in:
- SQL
- Python
- PySpark
- Experience with:
- Apache Airflow
- Git
- CI/CD pipelines
- Good-to-have skills:
- Cloud SQL
- Dataplex
- Good understanding of SDLC & Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proactive, adaptive, and self-motivated attitude
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams
