About the job:
Key responsibilities:1 - Provide production support for GCP-based applications using technologies like BigQuery, DBT, and workflows.
2 - Establish a digital environment and automate processes to ensure predictable, high-quality code and data.
3 - Collaborate with Ops, Dev, and Test Engineers to identify and resolve operational issues at all stages of product or service release/change.
4 - Automate the CI/CD pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team, promoting continuous improvement.
5 - Ensure IT General Controls (e.g., SDLC, DEPL) are followed and provide evidence for audit reviews as required.
6 - Provide flexible on-call support and work in shifts as needed.
7 - Monitor production using tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, or Splunk to identify and resolve issues.
8 - Work independently and across global teams to troubleshoot and resolve production problems.

Linux, SQL, Shell Scripting, DevOps, Google Cloud Platforms (GCP), CI/CD and BigQueryOther Requirements:
- Knowledge of BigQuery, Shell scripting, SQL, and batch scheduling tools like Control-M.
- Experience in data warehouse or regulatory reporting projects.
- Understanding of risk, compliance, and production support processes (Change, Incident, Problem & Service management).
- Knowledge of patching and vulnerability management practices.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows platforms to resolve app/infra issues.
- Basic understanding of DevOps operating model and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery processes and CI/CD pipeline.
- Previous experience in banking and GCP cloud-based systems is an advantage.
