Gen Al Data Scientist for Digital Marketing

Our Power & Sensor Systems (PSS) Division is seeking you for the Indian branch of our divisional Digitalization department, where we design and implement future-state business processes enhanced by cutting-edge technologies like Generative Al and advanced analytics. As a part of this newly formed team, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape how the team operates. You will design and implement next-generation, AI-powered processes and applications that revolutionize how we work - combining hands-on data analysis with LLM/GenAl solution development. You'll build end-to-end solutions (from data pipelines and dashboards to RAG/agentic apps), collaborate closely with our analytics team for digital marketing as well as with the business stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and own the lifecycle of what you deliver. You will leverage the latest in LLM technologies, corporate cloud infrastructure, and modern data platforms to build digital solutions that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive sustainable, profitable growth. Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Generative Al Application Development: Leverage foundation models and LLM services to develop and maintain Al-powered solutions such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, agentic workflows, and GenAl applications that create measurable value within the function for Digital Marketing.
• Technical Leadership: Drive technical excellence in GenAl implementations, mentoring junior engineers in best practices for LLM application development, prompt engineering, and Al deployment. Stay current with industry trends to ensure innovation and scalability.
• Project Management: Lead the development and implementation of digitalization and GenAl use cases, ensuring
  timely delivery, high quality, and budget adherence. Manage interdependencies across cross-functional teams and
  stakeholders.
• Technical Solution Ownership: Take full ownership of developed solutions - whether dashboards or GenAl
  applications - ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user needs. Continuously improving performance,
  accuracy, and user experience based on feedback and evolving requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary technical contact for your solutions, collaborating with business
  counterparts and central departments. Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements clearly to
  management, while managing expectations around Al capabilities and data insights.
• Customer-Centric Innovation: Identify and prioritize opportunities for new digital and AI-powered solutions that address specific business challenges. Proactively propose and implement enhancements that improve customer satisfaction and deliver tangible business value.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education & Background
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or Al roles, ideally with customer-facing responsibilities and ownership of technical solutions
  • Experience in digital marketing/sales analytics is a plus
• Technical Proficiency
  
  • Strong Python skills for data analysis and Al development.
  • Experience with GenAl frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Llamalndex) and foundation models (e.g., GPT, Claude,LLa MA)
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages (e.g., Java, Scala, Rust) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and distributed data stores (e.g., MySQL, HDFS)
  • Experience with vector databases, embedding models, and semantic search for RAG systems
  • Knowledge of data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Mage AI).
  • Experience with DevOps/MLOps tools (e.g., Git, Cl/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Project & Solution Ownership
  
  • Experience in agile project management and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Ownership of solution lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment and sustaining
  • Ability to continuously improve performance, accuracy, and user experience
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to explain complex Al and data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing expectations and communicating progress, risks, and achievements.

  • Passion for emerging technologies, especially Generative Al Entrepreneurial spirit in running pilots and shaping future digital/AI solutions Analytical and problem-solving mindset with sensitivity to organizational dynamics Strong structure, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Language & Mobility
  
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • German is a plus Willingness to travel occasionally to Austria and Germany.
