Summary

The C1 AI Center of Excellence team seeks a highly motivated, creative and passionate Generative AI Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work with the management team within the C1 AI COE. In this role, you will play a vital part in building, designing, managing and tuning our fully managed generative AI platform,  C1 Elly, while also providing critical support during US business hours .  In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, designing, building, and deploying advanced AI models that power intelligent and engaging interactions.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Generative AI Engineering:

• Model Development & Deployment:  Design, build, and deploy AI models using LLMs (Llama 2, OpenAI), LangChain , Hugging Face. Leverage RAG techniques to enhance chatbot interactions and data-driven decisions.
• AI Technique Innovation:  Develop and implement new generative AI techniques to improve C1 Elly's capabilities.
• Data Processing:  Extract, clean, and process large datasets for training and evaluating generative AI models.
• Model Training & Evaluation:  Train and fine-tune LLMs for specific tasks using prompt engineering and reinforcement learning. Evaluate model performance and refine models based on results.
• System Integration:  Integrate AI models with existing systems, including databases. Design and build APIs (e.g., using FastAPI ) for seamless integration with applications and services.
• Technology Research:  Research and evaluate emerging generative AI technologies and their potential applications within C1 Elly.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization:  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to generative AI models. Optimize existing models for efficiency, accuracy, and performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Collaborate with teams to conceptualize, design, test, and deploy AI projects that drive innovation and integrate generative AI models into C1 Elly's workflow.
• Documentation:  Create and maintain documentation for generative AI models and their applications.
• Communication:  Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

Bot Building & Maintenance:

• Conversational Flow Development:  Develop and maintain conversational flows for C1 Elly, ensuring optimal user experience and efficiency.
• User Story Implementation:  Collaborate with product and design teams to translate user stories and requirements into actionable bot logic.
• Prompt Implementation & Optimization:  Implement and optimize Elly Flow Prompts and Elly Control Prompts, leveraging NLP and conversational design principles.
• Technology Awareness:  Stay up-to-date on advancements in Conversational AI, generative AI, and bot building technologies.
  
  

Prompt Optimization & Support:

• US B usiness hours Support:  Act as a primary escalation point for US business hours tickets related to Elly Flow and Control Prompt adjustments.
• Interaction Analysis:  Analyze user interactions to identify areas for prompt optimization and improvement.
• Issue Resolution:  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve prompt-related issues and ensure efficient workflow.
  
  

Documentation and Training:

• Documentation Creation:  Create and maintain detailed documentation of Elly Flow and Control Prompts, including best practices and troubleshooting guides.
• Internal Training:  Train internal teams on using and maintaining Elly's conversational flows and prompt system.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Generative AI and Machine Learning
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with LLMs, LangChain , Hugging Face, and cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., Azure AI Studio, Vertex AI)
• Proven experience (At least 3+ Years) building and maintaining conversational AI / generative AI bots .
• Expertise in NLP techniques, including text generation, summarization, and sentiment analysis
• Strong background in machine learning and deep learning algorithms
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch for developing AI models
• Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and conversational AI and generative AI design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP (preferred)
• Familiarity with US English grammar, idioms, and syntax
• Experience with API development and integration
• Excellent communication , design and problem-solving skills .
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for building bots using Conversational AI and Generative AI
  
  

Desirable:

• E xperience with Flow based designers like Flowise , Langflow etc.,
• Understanding of Generative AI and Conversational AI
• Experience with providing support during US business hours .
